Never A Good Time

My wife and I adopted a puppy five weeks ago.  Not long after doing so, we frequently asked ourselves: “What were we thinking?!”  But as we reflected further, we realized that our life is too full for there ever to be a uniquely good time to take on the challenge of a new puppy.

The same is true for beginning the process of implementing a system like EOS in your business.  So often I speak with business owners who feel like they are one hire away from being able to schedule Focus Day (the first step of the EOS implementation process).  One hire away, or one customer away, or one system integration away…

At some point, we just decide “I want a new dog in my life,” or ”It’s time to get my business in better shape.”  And we just get started.

The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago.  The second best time is right now.  If there is a never a good time, there’s never a bad time, either.
